CORVALLIS PEOPLE FOR PARKS
I have been a resident of Corvallis for 19 years. My family and I enjoy the area's parks and natural areas on a daily basis, and I want to help others experience these valuable resources.
I came to Corvallis in 1974 to study at OSU and discovered what a wonderful place this is, so I decided to stay. I have served on city and county park boards, the College of Forestry Forest Recreation Advisory Committee, and was a founding member of the Greenbelt Land Trust. Our parks and natural areas are key elements in making this a special place.
I am a retired early childhood educator and Corvallis native concerned about the need for accessible outdoor spaces for families in our local neighborhoods.
I have lived in Corvallis for 41 years. I have three kids and four grandchildren. I served on the City Council for eight years and I am staying involved with local government and the community.
